01 Services

These terms cover web development and related digital services — including WordPress development, custom theme and plugin development, landing pages, custom websites, and IT support. The specific scope of services is agreed upon in writing at the start of each project.

02 Project Scope

The agreed project scope is defined at kickoff and serves as the reference for all deliverables. Any work outside the agreed scope — new features, structural changes, or additional pages — will be discussed and may be billed separately before work begins.

03 Payment Terms

Payment schedules are agreed at the start of each project. A deposit may be required before work begins; this is determined on a per-project basis and may be waived at discretion. Final payment is due upon project delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Work may be paused on projects with overdue balances. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at project start.

04 Revisions

Minor edits — small text changes, colour adjustments, and similar low-effort tweaks — are included at no extra cost throughout the project.

Complex changes that affect the project scope, structure, or require significant rework will be discussed and billed separately. What counts as “minor” versus “complex” will be clarified before additional work begins.

05 Intellectual Property

All final deliverables become the property of the client upon receipt of full payment. Until full payment is received, all work — including designs, code, and assets — remains the property of Kushan Ekanayake.

Third-party assets such as stock images, fonts, or licensed plugins remain subject to their respective licenses. It is the client's responsibility to maintain any third-party licenses required for ongoing use.

06 Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing necessary content, assets, credentials, and access in a timely manner. Delays caused by late client feedback or missing materials may affect project timelines. Clients are also responsible for ensuring that all content they provide is accurate and legally compliant.

07 Termination

Either party may request to end a project by providing written notice. The terms of termination — including any outstanding payments, partial deliverables, or refunds — will be determined through mutual discussion in good faith.

08 Limitation of Liability

Services are delivered in good faith and to a professional standard. Liability is limited to the total value of the project in question. There is no liability for indirect losses, loss of revenue, loss of data, or downtime resulting from the use of delivered work.
